Welcome!

Today starts the movie/couch potato project.

What it is the movie/couch potato project you ask?

It is me, during my 4 weeks of Christmas break, sitting on the couch and watching every single movie I own.

Who am I?

I am your lowly college student working on achieving her first bachelor's degree. I'm married and have been adopted by 3 lazy critters. Two dogs and a cat. The dogs, of course, are laying next to me on the couch. I suffer from serious OCD, so I have alphabetized and cataloged all of the movies I own. I recently became owner of a blu-ray player (Yay for Christmas!) and have purchased a few of those bad boys. I must profess the quality of a high definition TV is much better than an analog television.

Why am I doing this?

I have tons and tons of movies. I haven't seen some of them! My husband says there is not enough time in the year for me to watch every single movie we own. Some say our collection isn't that big but it is bigger than most! We have nearly 700 movies. That does not include what is on my iPod.

The game plan:I will watch every single movie I have with a few exceptions. Bathroom breaks are the necessity of life. I also have to feed my addiction for exercise and sleep. The occasional date with the spouse will also be in the mix. Otherwise, you can find me on the couch, watching a movie.
