Sex, Violence, and Interpretation

It's all in the mind, really. I've managed to watch 5 movies yesterday. Now I'm watching American Gangster. It's based on a true story. I didn't know that.

I've been on both sides of the camera. Yes, I once acted. Perhaps that is why I can separate the falsehood of a movie from the reality of life. The couple, faking the orgasms in the bedroom (or anywhere else for that matter), isn't real. In some cases, they aren't even filming the scene together. Sometimes it is an actual married couple in its place.

Violence... When the guy goes to take a swing, it's choreographed. That means he throws a punch that misses the body but the intended recipient moves as though he/she has been hit. It's all very interesting how the timing of the movements are coordinated.

What you see on TV, isn't real. It's all an interpretation of your mind.

Now back to the show.
